APPAREL DESIGNER
Job Description:Affinity Skateboards is in need of an experienced apparel designer. Position would be responsible for the creation of graphics to be used in soft goods.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the concept, design and creation of all men's Apparel and Accessories
- Knowledgeable in with materials, colors, embellishments, technical features, fit and branding
- Ability to research market trends and apply designs to our target consumer
- Understanding of our customer and competition
- Work closely with product developers to make sure product is finished to desired specifications
- 2-3 years of career level experience in Apparel design
- Proficient in all Adobe applications
- Design school a plus
- Should be professional, extremely organized and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to meet frequent deadlines
- Up to date with apparel construction, textiles and knowledge of the garment manufacturing process a must
- Previous experience in the skateboard industry a plus
